So let's see. 40 min there, approximately 2 hrs waiting, and 40 mins back home.
My plans are ruined! As you get to know me you'll realize that I have good intentions when planning my day. I also have ADD. So, if something shiny catches my eye on the way to begin my project I can't stop myself from investigating and fixing it or cleaning it!
2.5 hrs later, thankfully, I did not have to pay a penny!
Now on to see if I can salvage at least part of my day. Not gonna happen! There goes another day that was meant to get everything I needed to do done! Mind you my list is unrealistic.
By luck, I stumbled on a repurpose furniture boutique a few months back. The owner asked if I'd be interested in painting furniture for her store. It's a lovely repurpose boutique that donates proceeds to homeless veterans. What a great cause!
I just couldn't say no (I have a problem saying no). Why not make a few extra dollars!
I was asked to paint a wood picnic table and four benches the same way I had painted a coffee table for the boutique.
I'm off to go power wash it and hopefully put a coat of paint on it! Wish me Luck!
