Furniture Re-purposing Venture

Repurpose and recycle!  That's the craze now.  I've been repainting furniture for years now.  

Being a single mom with a full-time job isn't all it's cracked up to be!  I purchased my first house in 1999.  Boy was I proud of myself.  Until I realized I needed to furnish it.  Luckily I'm a tomboy at heart.  I guess I got the "build it, fix it yourself" gene from my father.  I always enjoyed working with my hands and power tools!  Hanging around my dad while my sisters were out dating served me well!

I bought my first dressers from a lingerie shop that was going out of business.  Both were unique and had potential.  I still have them 19 years later.  

So I decided to begin repainting furniture again.  But this time I would be paid to do it!   I'm a full-time artist with a studio now living my dream! 

I'll be posting my furniture finds along with the repainting process as I complete them!  Be prepared to experience what I call " Art and Other Mental Disorders".
